Ebsray regenerative turbine pumps

Ebsray regenerative turbine pumps are specifically designed for the transfer of low-viscosity and easily vaporizing liquids, such as LPG, propane, butane, DME, CO₂, and ammonia. These pumps are ideally suited for high-pressure applications where significant pressure differentials are required even at low flow rates. Within the circulation pressure range, Ebsray pumps are a standard product, particularly in autogas and industrial applications.

Operating Principle

A regenerative turbine pump operates with a rotating, non-contact impeller that features multiple small cells (approximately 60 units) along its edge. The liquid enters the pump’s suction port, where the impeller accelerates it within the hydraulic channel. The liquid circulates through the channel multiple times, incrementally increasing its energy and pressure. This enables the formation of a high-pressure differential—hence the name regenerative turbine pump.
