Gas check valve

The valve meets the requirements of the EN 12284 standard, the Pressure Vessel Directive 2014/68/EU and the UK Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulation 2016. The valve is manually lockable and equipped with a clear flow direction indicator.

Installation and use

• Only trained personnel should install and maintain the valve.
• Installation possible both vertically and horizontally, optimal operation in an upright position.
• Flow direction indicator on the nameplate.
• The valve is maintenance-free, but regular inspection is recommended.

• Comply with the safety requirements of EN 378-2 and EN 12284.
• Do not exceed the technical limits.

Blackmer® BV Series Bypass Valves

Blackmer® BV Series bypass valves provide primary pressure control and are designed to maximize system flow rate. When the flow or pressure produced by the pump exceeds the set value, the excess fluid is safely returned to the tank via a bypass valve, preventing damage to the pump or piping. The valve design allows for a narrow pressure range between the first opening pressure and the full pump flow.

Models and applications

• BV0.75/1: NPT connection, compatible with 1.25″ & 1.5″ LGL series pumps, maximum flow rate 227 l/min.
• BV1.25/1.5: NPT connection, compatible with 2″ & 3″ LGL series pumps, maximum flow rate 473 l/min.
• BV2: NPT, NPT angle, welding, welding angle; compatible with 3″ & 4″ LGL series pumps, maximum flow 946 l/min.
