Wilden metal pumps

Wilden air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pumps with metal bodies are a highly durable and versatile solution for demanding industrial liquid transfer needs. Metal constructions (aluminium, cast iron, stainless steel, Hastelloy), combined with Wilden’s advanced air motor technology, provide excellent mechanical strength, chemical compatibility, and long service life even in the toughest processes.

Why Choose a Wilden Metal Pump?

  • Energy efficiency as standard: Pro-Flo® SHIFT air distribution system (ADS) reduces air consumption by up to 60% without compromising flow performance.
  • Durable materials: Available in aluminium, cast iron, stainless steel, Hastelloy – broad chemical and mechanical compatibility.
  • ATEX approval: Many metal-bodied models are suitable for use in explosive atmospheres.
  • Bolted Advanced™ Series construction: Minimizes leakage risks. Multiple options available, such as BSP and NPT threads or DIN and ANSI flanges.
  • Wide range of elastomers: PTFE, EPDM, FKM, Wil-Flex™, Saniflex® – choose according to your process.
  • Process-safe, versatile dry-run and self-priming capability.

Series and Applications

Advanced™ Series (Bolted)

Designed for maximum performance and tightness. Bolted construction ensures complete product containment; flow-optimized path increases output. Available in aluminium, stainless steel, Hastelloy, cast iron. Elastomer options: PTFE, EPDM, FKM, Wil-Flex™, Saniflex®.

Sizes: ¼″–4″ (6–102 mm).

Flow: from a few litres per minute up to 1048 l/min. Maximum pressure is typically 8.6 bar.

Original™ Series (Clamped)

For general applications where easy maintenance and quick disassembly are valued. Also available with Pro-Flo® SHIFT air motor. Capacities up to 1048 l/min (PS20 Metal).

Typical Applications

  • Transfer of chemicals and solvents
  • Paint and coating industry
  • Water and wastewater processes
  • Mining and metal industry
  • Petrochemical, pulp and paper industry
  • Many other industrial liquid transfer needs

Technologies that Set Wilden Apart

  • Pro-Flo® SHIFT (PS)
    • Mechanical, non-electric air motor that restricts air at the end of the stroke and eliminates air chamber overfilling; results in up to 60% lower air consumption.
  • Pure-Fuse™ IPD diaphragms
    • One-piece diaphragm for hygienic applications, CIP-cleanable, and offers better suction/flow performance.
