Wilden plastic pumps

Wilden air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pumps with plastic bodies are an excellent solution when chemical resistance, light weight, and versatility are required for demanding industrial liquid transfer applications. Plastic constructions (PP, PVDF, PTFE), combined with Wilden’s advanced air motor technology, provide outstanding chemical compatibility and safety, especially for aggressive fluids.

Why Choose a Wilden Plastic Pump?

  • Energy Efficiency as Standard: ProFlo® SHIFT air distribution system (ADS) reduces air consumption by up to 60% without compromising flow performance.
  • Durable Materials: Polypropylene, PVDF, PTFE – broad chemical compatibility and excellent corrosion resistance.
  • Lightweight and Easily Portable: Plastic pumps are lighter than metal ones, making installation and relocation easier.
  • Bolted Advanced™ Series Construction: Minimizes leakage risks and ensures complete product containment.
  • Wide Range of Elastomers: PTFE, EPDM, FKM WilFlex™, Saniflex® – choose according to your process needs.
  • Process-Safe, Versatile Dry-Run and Self-Priming Capability.

Series and Applications

Advanced™ Series (Bolted)

  • Designed for maximum performance and tightness.
  • Bolted construction ensures complete product containment; flow-optimized path increases output.
  • Available in PP, PVDF, PP (ATEX), and PVDF (ATEX).
  • Elastomer options: PTFE, EPDM, WilFlex™, Saniflex®.
  • Sizes: ¼″–3″ (6–76 mm).
  • Flow: from a few liters per minute up to 1024 l/min.
  • Maximum pressure is typically 8.7 bar.

Original™ Series (Clamped)

  • For general applications where easy maintenance and quick disassembly are valued.
  • Also available with ProFlo® SHIFT air motor.

Typical Applications

  • Transfer of chemicals and solvents
  • Water and Wastewater Processes
  • Food and pharmaceutical industries (hygienic models)
  • Painting and coating industry
  • Electronics and semiconductor industry
  • Many other industrial liquid transfer needs requiring excellent chemical resistance

Technologies that Set Wilden Apart

  • ProFlo® SHIFT (PS):
    • Mechanical, non-electric air motor that restricts air at the end of the stroke and eliminates air chamber overfilling; results in up to 60% lower air consumption.
  • PureFuse™ IPD Diaphragms:
    • One-piece diaphragm for hygienic applications, CIP-cleanable, and offers better suction/flow performance.
  • Bolted Plastic Construction:
    • Complete tightness and safety even in demanding chemical environments.
